Using Talo

Fair terms, in clear words.

These terms explain the agreement between you and Talo when you use the app, website and Connected services.

Effective: 24 August 2026 · Build: 2026-09-06T11:40:39.892Z

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Talo, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 18, or old enough to enter this agreement where you live.

2. Your account

Give us accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless the law says otherwise.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of Your content. You give Talo a limited permission to host, copy, process and display it only as needed to provide, protect and improve the service you use.

Only add content you are entitled to use. If it concerns another person, make sure you have an appropriate reason and respect their privacy.

4. Connected services

Talo can connect to services supplied by others, such as Gmail. You choose whether to connect them and can pause or disconnect them. Their own terms and availability also apply.

For Gmail, Talo requests read-only access and cannot send, edit or delete messages. See our Gmail connection guide and Privacy Notice before connecting.

Third-party services can change, interrupt or withdraw access. We are not responsible for their systems, but we will aim to make Talo’s connection status clear.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse Talo, break the law, infringe rights, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful code, overwhelm the service, scrape it at scale, reverse engineer protected parts or use it to harm another person.

6. Service changes

Talo is evolving. We may add, change or retire features, sometimes without advance notice where needed for safety or reliability. We will give reasonable notice when a change materially affects your rights and it is practical to do so.

7. Important limits

Talo helps organise household information and surface possible next steps. It may contain errors or incomplete information. Check important details with the original source before acting.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Talo is provided without a promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your mandatory consumer rights.

8. Ending use

You may stop using Talo and request account closure. We may restrict or suspend access to protect people or the service, comply with law, or respond to serious or repeated breaches. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and give you a chance to put things right.

9. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts that apply to you under mandatory consumer law will have jurisdiction; otherwise, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction.

Please contact support@ask-talo.com first so we can try to resolve a concern directly.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will publish the effective date and give additional notice for material changes where required. Continuing to use Talo after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
